Show « الخيل والليل » Closes Arab Radio and Television Festival

DESCRIPTION

“The Horse and the Night” – A Musical Tribute to Arab Collective Memory

الخيل والليل – “The Horse and the Night” is a unique audiovisual musical performance composed by Tunisian artist Karim Thlibi, presented as the closing event of the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Opera Hall – City of Culture, Tunis.

This immersive experience draws inspiration from two eternal symbols deeply rooted in Arab heritage: the horse, emblem of power and freedom, and the night, bearer of mystery and poetic beauty. Through 21 songs and instrumental pieces, the show offers a contemporary artistic journey where music, visuals, and words intertwine to celebrate Arab cultural identity.

The performance features seven artists from across the Arab world, who come together on one stage to deliver both solo and collective renditions of iconic Arab songs, reimagined through new arrangements. Their collaboration transcends national boundaries to express a unified Arab artistic spirit.

More than just a concert, “The Horse and the Night” is a tribute to shared cultural memory and a call for unity through beauty and creativity. In an era of division, it affirms art’s power to connect hearts and revive collective identity.
